AGENCY PROGRAM SUMMARY
Overview
VHI Transport, a logistics provider, since 1977, often having employees who served in leadership in the transportation industry, is seeking brokerage agents nationwide. We offer a 50/50, 55/45 and 60/40 split with 60% of the net amount to the agent, 10 day carrier pay, or quick pay for carriers, by-weekly settlements to the agent, state of the art dispatch software, online and load posting services including Internet Truckstop, GetLoaded.com, DAT and more, all promotional information, and professional office support.
Commissions
60/40 split of the net amount of each shipment on invoiced freight to the shipper. (60% to the broker agent), payable after VHI receives payment for the transaction.
ü 55/45 split of the net amount of each shipment on invoiced freight from the carrier. (55% to the broker agent), payable after VHI invoices the responsible party.
ü 50/50 split of the net amount of each shipment upon delivered via the carrier.
(50% to the broker agent), payable after the load is verified picked up by the agent.
In addition there will be an additional 1% percent (%) commission paid for each additional $500,000 of Company’s Gross Commission as defined as follows: INDEPENDENT SALES REPRESENTATIVE’s total sales must operate at a net vs. gross ratio of equal to or greater than 16% (net to be measured as gross payment for load less transportation cost less any sales commissions paid). There will be a maximum 70% percent (%) commission paid to INDEPENDENT SALES REPRESENTATIVE. This additional commission will be paid beginning the first day of January the year following the increase in billings.
Fast Carrier Pay
VHI Transport pays all carriers in 10 days or the 10th, 20th & 30th of each calendar month from receipt of their invoice, or sooner, should they sign up for our quick pay program.
Payment of Commissions
Commissions are processed every two weeks. Weeks for commissions calculation runs from Monday through Sunday Midnight. VHI will pay the agents via direct payroll deposit, to their account via this method , every two weeks, or, not preferred, but as an option to the Agent, will pay within two days of the close of the current week, or by Tuesday, however this check will be mailed to the Agent. Thus, Agents can elect to either have their commission mailed (standard check), or paid through direct deposit. With commissions paid according to the split agreed upon.
Training
In order to ensure that an Agents business is successful and gets off to a good start, VHI Transport offers training. We will ask our new agent to visit with us in Virginia or, we might spend time with you, working and providing basic orientation to our system. This includes introduction to our software programs, basic procedures, policies and other general questions. Training could also entail on line facilitation.
Business will be on-line.
All Agents are given access to our programs which are internet based. We require all agents to have the ability to use the software. This system helps us process all paperwork for billing and commissions. Agents can also trace shipments, fax rate confirmations to their customers and carriers directly from within the logistics program, and print load sheets. This gives Agents and customers the most up-to-date information possible. This state of- the-art system gives our Agents a definite edge.
Sales and Marketing Materials
Once signed up, we provide Agents with sales and marketing information & files to help switch existing customers to VHI Transport and help secure new business. Sales items include printable letterhead, company brochures, business cards and more.
Mileage Software
We offer the ability to for Agents to purchase mileage software, at a discount price. This software is directly accessed by the Agent, and can be access at anytime, allowing the agent to work on new business during and after business hours.
Data Reports
Our software enables a multitude of reports that assists the Agent in their business and work with their customers, carriers or shippers. Reports available include,
Data for each load transaction, ordered, sorted and customized to fit the needs of a viable logistics office, including such things as customer volume, sales percentages and comparisons against two separate time frames; gross sales reports and many more.
- Discounts on dot.com postings through agency programs.
- Financial strength that allows a 10-day payment cycle to the motor carrier, either by check or electronic payments, or quick pay features.
- Outstanding credit ratings by the major credit reporting services.
- Use of VHI’s brokerage authority.
