Alexander Named Regional Sales Director Back

CHESTER, VA –  October 16, 2007 – VHI veteran executive Connie Alexander moved to a new position within the company. Connie has been named Regional Sales Director for the Southeast.

After fourteen years with VHI Transport, first as a logistics specialist and eventually as Director of Operations, Connie is fulfilling her life-long dream. She and her husband Joey have purchased waterfront property near Atlantic Beach, NC at the mouth of the Neuse River and Pamlico Sound where they will soon make their permanent residence. Most of Connie’s relatives live in Eastern North Carolina.

“We are so pleased that Connie will be able to stay with our company in an executive capacity, even with her change of residence,” stated VHI President Bruce Gee. “Her experience and aptitude in arranging freight movement by truck, intermodal and container will bring VHI’s can-do brand of service to the new customers that she will bring on board.”

Connie’s relocation is scheduled for the end of December 2007. In the meantime, she is beginning her duties as regional sales director in the Chester VA corporate office.
