Agency Mission Statement
AGENCY MISSION STATEMENT
VHI TRANSPORT is dedicated to providing solutions to the transportation needs of industrial and commercial companies throughout the nation. We will always display honesty and integrity in our dealings with customers, vendors and each other. Our constant goal is to provide services that will give our customers a competitive edge in their respective industries.
VHI TRANSPORT will continue to expand and improve its services to fulfill our customers’ growing needs or to assist in expanding their horizons as new modes of service become available in the evolving transportation marketplace. We will recruit and retain Agents who share the vision of the corporation and are dedicated to the growth and success of their customers an embrace and demonstrate our core values.
VHI Transport believes in the entrepreneurship of good people building businesses and sees itself as an excellent choice for offering structure and support for those who desire to work in an agency environment. We have had agents working for the company for over 30 years. We embrace the notion that we must provide the authority, insurance, cash and special tools to be competitive and that our agents provide the day to day operation and sales to their customers.
Our program is supported through shipper specific representation, that in essence stipulates that you represent the customer you bring own board and they are your customer for life, provided a minimum amount of business is generated by you with the customer. Should a customer have multi-facilities, we prefer one agent handles the whole, but we do have shared commission capabilities. We do have the flexibility of allowing agents to do the sales, the operation and or both, and can pay according to which service is provided.
As of this writing, VHI has agents and or offices in several cities and states. Because of the customer program, it is possible to have more than one agent in an area.
